Introducing Courtside Promote: Spend Earned XP to Spotlight Your Best Posts
Some posts deserve a bigger moment. Promote lets you spend the XP you earned on court to give a Courtside post the spotlight: four tiers from Glow to Deuce Takeover, a Pro and Verified discount, and the option to boost a friend's post instead of your own.

Some posts deserve a bigger moment. The match where you finally beat your nemesis. The tournament you are trying to fill. The card pull you cannot quite believe. Courtside Promote lets you spend the XP you earned on court to give one of your posts the spotlight, for a while. It is a way to say "look at this one", paid for with effort, not money.
What it is
Promote takes a post on Courtside, our friends-only feed, and boosts how it appears for a set window of time. You spend XP, the currency you earn by playing, and in return your post stands out, or rises to the top, for a few hours or a day. When the window ends, the post settles back into the feed like any other. It is a spotlight, not a permanent fixture.
The four tiers
- Glow (150 XP, 6 hours): a highlighted treatment that makes your post catch the eye as people scroll.
- Spotlight (300 XP, 12 hours): a bigger, bolder standout for half a day.
- Pinned (500 XP, 24 hours): your post pins to the top of the feed for a full day, so it is the first thing your friends see.
- Deuce Takeover (1000 XP, 24 hours): the works. Top pin plus the full Deuce treatment for a day. The loudest a post can get.
You can run one active promotion at a time, so it stays a deliberate "this is the one" choice rather than a wall of boosted posts. Pro and Verified members promote at twenty percent off every tier.
Gift a promotion
Here is the part we love most: you do not have to promote your own post. You can spend your XP to promote a friend's post instead. A mate just played the match of their life and is too modest to boost it themselves? Put it in the spotlight for them. The promotion shows it was a gift, which turns a boost into a small act of support.
It is a sink, not a shop
Promote is built on one firm rule: the XP is earned, never bought. There is no way to buy your way to the top with real money. Everything you spend on a promotion was won on court, which keeps the feed fair, the spotlight meaningful, and the whole economy honest. It also does a quiet job behind the scenes: giving players a satisfying place to spend XP keeps the economy healthy rather than letting balances balloon forever.
Why we built it
Two reasons. Players asked for a way to make a special post feel special, and we wanted more good reasons to spend XP that were social rather than selfish. Promote does both. It lets your best moments get their due, lets you lift up a friend's, and gives all that hard-earned XP somewhere worthwhile to go.
Where to find it
Promote lives in the menu on your own posts (and your friends' posts) on Courtside. New to the feed itself? Start with our introduction to Courtside, then pick your proudest post and give it the spotlight.
