Introducing Family Linked Accounts: Join Up Your Whole Tennis Household

New on RallyHub: link the players in your household as family. Parents, partners, and juniors get the right shared visibility and sensible emergency contacts, while everyone keeps their own account.

By Two brothers in Melbourne, co-founder of RallyHub.

Tennis is often a family affair. Family linked accounts let you connect the players in your household on RallyHub, so parents, partners, and juniors are properly joined up instead of being strangers who happen to share a surname.

What it is

A family link is a special kind of connection between RallyHub accounts that says "these people are family." It is more than a friendship. It unlocks a level of trust and visibility that makes sense for the people you live with and look after, while keeping everyone in control of their own account.

It is built for the real shape of tennis households: a parent who manages a junior's tennis, siblings who play, or partners who share a club.

How it works

Family links work on top of the friendship system you already know, with a relationship type that marks the connection as family.

  • Link your household. Connect accounts as family so RallyHub knows who belongs together.
  • Share the right things. Family members see a level of detail that ordinary friends do not, set sensibly by default rather than left wide open.
  • Emergency contacts that make sense. Family are the people who should be able to reach you if something happens at the courts, and the visibility reflects that.
  • Everyone keeps their own account. A family link is a connection, not a takeover. Each player still controls their own profile and privacy.

The result is a household that is joined up on RallyHub the way it already is in real life, without anyone having to hand over a password or share a login.

Why we built it

Plenty of tennis is organised by one person on behalf of a few: a parent sorting a junior's matches, a partner booking the family's regular hit. Family linked accounts respect that reality instead of pretending every player is a lone adult.

It also handles the safety side quietly and well. When your emergency contacts are the family members who would actually come and help, the right people can find you when it counts, and no one else.

Want to join up your household? Head to your friends and link your family members. It only takes a moment, and it makes RallyHub feel like it was built for your whole tennis family, because it was.
