Introducing RallyMate: Swipe to Find Your Next Hitting Partner
Sometimes you do not want to search and filter, you just want to flick through players one at a time and say yes or no. RallyMate is the swipe deck for finding a hitting partner: pass, show interest, and match when it is mutual.

Deuce has a hand up, because sometimes you do not want to search and filter. You just want to flick through players one at a time and say yes or no.
RallyMate is the swipe deck for finding a hitting partner. Same idea everyone already knows from dating apps, pointed at something far less stressful: who do you want to hit a tennis ball with. One player per card, a tap to pass, a tap to show interest, and a match when the feeling is mutual.
What it is
RallyMate is a card-by-card discovery deck. It serves you one player at a time, tuned to your preferences for location, level, and availability. You pass on the ones who are not a fit and show interest in the ones who are. When two players both show interest, it is a match, and you can start talking about an actual hit.
How it works
- One card at a time. Each card is a player, with their level, area, and a bit about them. Pass, show interest, or use a superlike when you really want to get noticed.
- Mutual matches only. Nobody is bothered unless the interest goes both ways. A match means you both opted in.
- Tuned by your preferences. Set the distance, level range, and what you are after, and the deck filters to suit. There is even a roulette pull for when you want a random suggestion.
- It builds your network. A match is the natural lead-in to a friend request and a hit, so the deck feeds straight into Friends.
How to use it
- Open /players/discover.
- Set your preferences first, so the deck shows players near you and near your level.
- Swipe through. Pass on the ones who are not a fit, show interest in the ones who are.
- When you match, say hello, send a friend request, and sort a hit.
RallyMate or the Players directory?
Two front doors to the same pool of players. The Players directory is for when you know what you want and you go looking. RallyMate is for when you would rather browse, one face at a time, and let mutual interest do the matchmaking. Pick whichever fits the mood.
Why we built it
Plenty of people freeze at a search box. A list of filters feels like work, and sending a cold friend request to a stranger feels presumptuous. The swipe format takes the awkwardness out of it: you are just flicking through, nobody knows you passed, and a match means you both said yes. It turns finding a hitting partner from a chore into a thirty-second thing you do on the couch.
